  33. DESCRIPTION
  34.  
  35.      An editor for use with the Formula One Grand Prix or World Circuit
  36.      game (published by MicroProse Software).  It is very easy to use,
  37.      with a standard 2.0 look graphical user interface (even on KS 1.x!)
  38.      and on-line help should you need it.
  39.  
  40.      Allows you to alter most of the in-game setup, including computer
  41.      car performance, car/helmet/pitcrew colours, car fragility and many
  42.      other things (and I MEAN many!).  Sound samples can also be replaced,
  43.      cockpit graphics changed, and lap records and setups printed.

  45.      Changes can be saved directly to a copy of the game which is running
  46.      in memory, or to the main file used by the game for a more permanent
  47.      change.

  49.      Also incorporated in the main program are a number of memory patches,
  50.      including Toni Wilen's GPPatch and Grant Reeve's PatchF1GP.

  52.      F1GP-Ed breathes new life into an ageing, but excellent game.  1994
  53.      and 1995 example datafiles supplied for those who don't want to
  54.      mess about.

  56.      The program itself is auto-enhancing, which means that it will run
  57.      on a basic A500 with KS 1.2, but will make use of KS 2.x or KS 3.x
  58.      specific routines on suitable machines to make itself even better.

  62.      Minor update.

  64.      Steering help in reverse gear can now be removed.  Added QUIT
  65.      cli option / tooltype and "Patch after loading" settings menu
  66.      option.  Also improved Ctrl-C handling.

  68.      Previous versions corrupted the World Circuit (version B) binary a
  69.      little bit (nothing too serious), but this has been fixed and the
  70.      "Level Name" is now saved properly.

  100.      provided none of the files (including the executable) are tampered

  105.      develop the program, and as a bonus all features will be enabled and
  106.      annoying requesters removed.
